INTRODUCTION

  • Feature Summary: Import payment profiles from your old payment provider into a new one.

  • Use Cases: Save time, avoid errors, and eliminate the need to re-enter saved payment information. Your organization needs to coordinate with both payment providers to switch payment gateways.

PREREQUISITES

Moving to a new payment provider is managed directly between the new and old providers, not by CourtReserve. Organizations should contact their old and new providers to discuss the specifics of importing and exporting payment profiles, including any associated fees charged by payment providers.

SETUP REQUIREMENTS

For organizations transitioning to a new payment provider with Stripe, SafeSave, or CardConnect, follow the steps below.

  1. Contact your new provider to inquire about the specifics of importing payment profiles from the old gateway. This step is crucial for understanding the requirements and possible fees.

  2. Contact your old payment provider to ask about the procedure and costs associated with exporting your vault information. This ensures you have all the necessary details for both sides of the transition.

  3. At this point, your payment providers will handle the import process into your new payment provider account.

  4. After successful data import by the new gateway, export the vault information.

  5. Contact CourtReserve's support (or email) to import the vault IDs, connecting them to members in your database. This process takes 24-48 hours.

For Stripe Customers:

If your organization is already using Stripe as a payment provider and plans on using the same Stripe account to integrate payments with CourtReserve, your existing Vault IDs can be exported from the Stripe account and sent to CourtReserve's support (Step 5 above). In this situation, Steps 2, 3 & 4 (above) are not necessary.

For SafeSave Customers:

If your organization is importing payment profiles into SafeSave, Step 4 will not be necessary. After the payment profiles have been imported into your SafeSave account, you can contact CourtReserve's support team, and an export of the vault information will not be necessary.
