Configure Core Family Settings Like Membership Type

INTRODUCTION

  • Feature Summary: Create a new Family group.

  • Use Cases: System users can create a Family and, if using family memberships, can configure custom booking restrictions and membership tiers on a family level.

PREREQUISITES

If required, create a new Family membership type for a Family organization.


SETUP REQUIREMENTS

  1. Log in to the admin dashboard.

  2. Go to the side menu and click MEMBERS > FAMILIES. A new page displays.

  3. On the new page, click CREATE FAMILY.

Creating a family

Fill in the form and then click Save changes

  • Family Name - Usually, enter the last name of the family.

  • Family ID - Enter an ID number. CourtReserve auto-generates an ID if the field is blank.

  • Family Membership - Click the field and select a membership type.

Managing a family

After the system user creates and saves a new family, CourtReserve adds a row to the table and displays seven tabs below the table. Use the tabs to review, manage, and update family information and settings.

Details

  • Shows the family name and Family ID. System users can update both fields.

Family Members

  • Shows the club members assigned to this family. System users can add individuals to the family.

  • Show the current membership plan, plan details, and billing cycle.

Reservations

  • Show all family reservations (current, past, cancelled, and waitlisted).

Event

  • Shows all family events (current, past, cancelled, and waitlisted).

Billing Info

  • Shows billing information for the family.

Notes

  • Shows notes created by system users. These notes stay on the admin side and are not shared with club members or displayed on the member portal.
