About this feature
The background icons in the portal are fully customizable from a collection of 7848 custom icons installed into the platform. We use a platform called Font Awesome to manage our logos and icons that you can now use as well.
Usage notes
No custom icons. In order to keep the load times for the check-in portal extremely fast, we exclusively allow icons from the Font Awesome icons library.
Icon ratios. You can modify the ratio of icons shown by including more instances of the icon in your custom library.
icon order. The order of the icons is randomized each time the check-in portal is located. You cannot set a specific order of icons.
Minimum number. There is no minimum number of icons required however we recommend at least so the icons don't become too repetitious.
Using this feature
Head to the Font Awesome website (click here)
Search for and copy the icon names
Put the icon names into a comma-separated list
Click the "Edit Location" button
Expand the "Custom content" tab
Find the "Custom background icons" section
Paste your list of icons in the section
Hit "Save"
