Custom Reports give you the flexibility to create tailored reports across users, teams, data sources, look back periods and custom prompts. Custom Reports are generated using the following components:
About
Name: Title of the Custom Report
Description: Describe the purpose of the Custom Report
Icon: Customize the report thumbnail
Share Settings:
Only you can view
Anyone at your org can view
March 2025 Update: Notifications
Send as an Email to report followers
Send as a Slack to report followers in Coworker slack app (same as daily NTK notifications)
Post directly to any of your connected Slack channel(s)
Schedule the notification by time of day
Inputs
Groups: This will focus the report on the activity of the users within the selected group(s)
People: This will focus the report on the activity of the user(s) selected
ℹ Groups and People can be used interchangeably. You only need to use both fields if you need to capture separate users/teams. Hint: smaller groups may result in more detailed output.
Connected Sources: Select what connected data sources you want to report on
ℹ Hint: focus on data sources where your target groups spend the most time.
Team Reports: You can use the Team Reports as an additional data source when generating your Custom Report
individual Reports: You can use the Individual Reports as an additional data source when generating your Custom Report
Use data from this period: Select the activity look back period for your report
Outputs
Run report on these days each week: Select what days you want your report to run. This should match the date look back period. For example, if you're using a 7 day look back period, you should run your report weekly
Output Format: Provide additional formatting guidance. In most cases, choosing 'Default' will be the best option
Prompt: This is one of the most important components of your Custom Report. You can create your prompt by:
Template: Use an existing template that's been tried and tested
Prompt Assistant: Write a short description of your desired output and our prompt assistant will handle the rest. Once the prompt assistant generates a more detailed prompt, you can amend the prompt as needed. this might include adding additional instructions or formatting guidance
ℹ Hint: The more specific you make your prompt, the more consistent your report output
