Clear browser cache

How to clear cache in your internet browser.

Websites you visit create cookies and store them in your browser’s cache to help pages load faster. To get the best experience with CPL Learning, you may need to clear your cache. To do this, follow the steps in the relevant section below.

PC Google Chrome

To clear your browser cache, follow the steps below:

  1. In the top-right, click the three-dot menu.

  2. Select Delete browsing data, then select the relevant time range.

  3. Select the Cached images and files check box.

  4. Select any other items you want to remove, then click Delete data.


Mac Safari

To clear your browser cache, follow the steps below:

  1. Open Safari.

  2. Click Safari tab on top left corner of the menu.

  3. Click Settings, then click Advanced tab.

  4. Tick box Show features for web developers, then close the settings window.

  5. Navigate on top menu, then click Develop.

  6. Select Empty Caches from the drop-down menu.


iPhone

To clear the app cache on iPhone, follow the steps below:

  1. Open the Settings app, then tap General.

  2. Tap iPhone Storage.

  3. Next to Offload Unused Apps, tap Enable.


Android

To clear the app cache on Android, follow the steps below:

  1. Open the Settings app then tap Storage.

  2. Tap Application then select the app.

  3. Tap Clear cache.


Still having issues after clearing your cache?

Clearing your cache resolves most loading problems, but some issues require further investigation. If courses still do not load after clearing your cache across all browsers and devices, use the Access Digital Assistant and include the following details to help us investigate quickly:

  • The course name and whether it affects one user or many.

  • The browser/device you're using and whether you've tried alternatives.

  • A screenshot or description of the error or blank screen you see.

  • Confirmation that you've cleared your cache and tried incognito mode.
