Manage platform widgets editor

You can add, move or remove widgets to customise the layout of your channel.

Access the manage platform widgets editor

To access the widgets editor, follow the steps:

📌Note: You can click on a widget to edit its appearance.

  1. Log in to console.

  2. Click your initials, then click Manage platform.

  3. Click Edit widgets, then click Add widgets.

    • All widgets: You can see the different options that are available, this shows an old widget selection.

    • External: You can have an external widget, that navigates the user to any web address.

    • Live: Where you can navigate to user management, discover, user profile, activity centre or report percentage.

    • Open content: You can select that your widget opens a specific course, opens a specific library category, item or learning journey.

  4. Click Confirm.

Link a widget to a library folder or item

To link a widget to a library folder or item follow the steps below:

  1. Click Edit Widgets.

  2. Click Add widget to access your widget library.

  3. Click Open Content on the top page.

  4. Click Add.

    • Select Open a Library Category, this opens a specific library category if the user has it available to them.

    • Select Open a Library Item, this opens a specific library item if the user has it available to them.

  5. Click Additional to select a library item.

  6. Click Confirm.
