If your contract prints as a narrow strip down one side of the page, your Brother printer's paper size is set to User Defined instead of Letter.
Open your Brother printer's Printing Preferences (or click Properties from the print dialog).
On the Basic tab, change Paper Size from User Defined to Letter.
Click OK, then print again.
