Part 5: Updating dispute item status and credit scores for manually added items

When your client doesn’t have a credit report that our software can import, you must manually enter credit items and scores to start their credit repair process. Once your client hears back from the bureaus after Round 1, you must manually update the status of the dispute items according to the bureau’s responses.

How to update dispute items manually - Step by step

  1. Click on Clients

  2. Click on your client’s name to open the client dashboard

  3. Click on Dispute Items

    This area will present you with a list view of the dispute items you’ve added manually or imported for this client.

  4. Go through the report and edit the item’s status as needed under the three bureaus

    For example, if you need to update the following Bank of America Mortgage item, you would click on the In Dispute link to select the new status.

    A pop-up will show where you will be able to update the disputed item.

    Select the new status for the item under the corresponding bureau(s).

  5. Click on Save

How to update credit scores manually - Step by step

  1. Click on Clients

  2. Click on your client’s name to open the client dashboard

  3. Click on Add/edit scores in the Scores section

  4. Click on + Add Scores

  5. Select a Date for the newly reported scores


  6. Enter the new scores under each bureau


  7. Click on Save


  8. Exit the Manage Scores popup
