🎨 How to Edit a Template with CreativeOS Editor

Learn how to quickly edit CreativeOS templates without leaving the platform.

What it does

CreativeOS offers a wide variety of templates that you can customize directly in the CreativeOS Editor, no external tools required.

There are several ways to start editing a template, depending on where you are in the app.


Option 1: From the Templates section

  1. Navigate to Templates in the left sidebar.

  2. Locate your preferred template and hover over it.

  3. Click the Edit button.

  4. You’ll be redirected to the CreativeOS Editor where you can begin editing.


Option 2: From the Feed

  1. Click on any template you see in the Feed.

  2. In the drawer that opens, click the Customize Template button on the right.

  3. You’ll be redirected to the CreativeOS Editor to start editing.


Option 3: From the Editor sidebar

  1. Click on Editor in the left sidebar.

  2. In the Editor sidebar, select Templates.

  3. Search for and select your preferred template.

  4. When prompted, choose how you’d like to add the template:

    • Add to current workspace – Adds the template pages to your existing design.

      • If your current design or canvas is blank, the template will be added as pages 1 and 2.

    • Add as new design – Opens a new design with the selected template as pages 1 and 2.


💡 Note

  • Page 1 shows a static preview of the template example.

  • Page 2 contains the editable version of the template that you can fully customize in the editor.
