Congratulations! You just finished setting up your storefront and copied your new link. Now, where can you share it?

At a high level, you can share your storefront link anywhere that link sharing is enabled - but we have a few recommendations for the best places to share your links.

Instagram

Instagram is one of the best platforms to drive social traffic to your storefront page. It makes it easy to share your links directly with your followers!

There are two main ways to share your storefront links on Instagram.

Adding Your Link to your Instagram Bio

Adding your link to your Instagram Bio allows you to direct traffic to your link in all of your in-feed and reel posts. When you post a new piece of content featuring a brand, remember to shout out and drive traffic to your 'storefront link in bio' with your exclusive discount!

Tip 1: If adding a direct link to your storefront to your bio, we recommend putting your storefront link through a link-shortening service such as bit.ly before adding it to your Instagram bio. This makes direct links cleaner, and you can even add your own custom branding!

Tip 2: If you would like to have multiple storefront or affiliate links linked to your Instagram bio, we recommend using a link landing page service such as linktr.ee or the milkshake.app. These services allow you to aggregate all of your links into one landing page with a shortened and custom-branded URL!

How to add your link to your Instagram Bio

Note: Editing links in your bio is only available on the mobile version of the Instagram app

  1. Make sure you have the link you need copied to your clipboard

  2. Go to your Instagram profile page and click 'Edit Profile'

  3. Inside your 'Edit profile' menu, click on 'Add links'

  4. Click 'Add external link'

  5. Paste your shortened storefront link or link landing page link to the URL section and give it a title with a call-to-action like 'Shop my Storefront Links!'

  6. Press 'Done' and go admire your new link in bio!

Adding Your Link to Instagram Story Posts

Whenever you post an Instagram story that features a brand, you can add a link to your storefront by adding a 'Link' sticker in the Story post creator!

Tip: Remember to share different types of links based on the content you are sharing!

How to Feature Your Storefront Links in Story Posts

  1. Click the '+' button next to your profile picture on your Instagram profile and select the content you would like to share.

  2. Click the 'Add Sticker' Icon and click on the 'Link' sticker.

  3. Paste your storefront link into the URL section, and add custom Sticker text with a call to action mentioning your exclusive discount, or instructing your followers to check out your storefront.

  4. Now customize your link sticker! You can tap the sticker to change its appearance, drag the sticker across the screen to make it fit with the content, or pinch the sticker to resize it!

  5. Don't forget to explain the link with a caption and tag the brand!

  6. Post it to your story and check out the results!

  7. Tip: Highlight your story in your profile to make it last!

TikTok

TikTok allows you to add a link to your profile once you hit 1,000 TikTok Followers. Once you hit this follower count, you can add your shortened bit.ly storefront link, linktr.ee or milkshake.app link to your bio!

If you have a short bit.ly or linktr.ee link, you can also feature these links in your content as a caption, and direct your followers to type them into the search bar on their search engines.
