What to do if an employee has one certificate for a few skills

Some Credentially users have one certificate that shows they've got a few skills. So they need a single document being evidence of multiple competencies. Well, we have just the thing! You can add up to 10 document types to each file uploaded.

How to add several default document types to a file

  1. Log in to Credentially as an administrator.

  2. Open Employees tab.

  3. Find a person who has a document of multiple competencies.

  4. Open their profile.

  5. Open 'Documents' tab.

  6. Find the document, which is evidence of multiple competences.

  7. Click 'Review'.

  8. Click on the small grey triangle to the right of a name of a certificate.

  9. Select up to 10 document types.ย 

  10. Click 'Save changes'.

  11. Select 'Send it now'.

When you are all done, the certificate you've just edited will stand for every document type you've selected.

How to add several custom document types to a file

  1. Log in to Credentially as an administrator.

  2. Open Employees tab.

  3. Find a person who has a document of multiple competencies.

  4. Open their profile.

  5. Open 'Documents' tab.

  6. Find the document, which is evidence of multiple competences.

  7. Click 'Review'.

  8. Click in the 'Document Types' field. Type in the name of the custom document type. Press 'Enter'.

  9. Click 'Save changes'.

  10. Select 'Send it now'.

When you are all done, the certificate you've just edited will stand for the default document type and the types you've inserted.
