How to complete your Right To Work during onboarding

When you reach the Right To Work onboarding step choose 1 of the 3 options

British/Irish Citizen - you will need to upload one or more of the documents to confirm your status

Non-British Citizen (online check) - you will need to provide a valid sharecode. Click her to find out how to obtain your sharecode. https://www.gov.uk/view-prove-immigration-status

None British Citizen (original documents) You will be asked you if your Right to Work in the UK is Permanent or Temporary

When you select the correct category, you'll be presented with the list of documents, one or more of which you can upload to prove your right to work in the UK. Please click the link to see which documents you can use

To do this, click Upload and select the file on your computer, mobile phone or tablet. If you are using the mobile version of Credentially, you can also take a photo of your document via the Upload function

When you upload all the necessary files, click 'Next' to proceed to the next onboarding step.

Right to Work Check via profile dashboard

You can also provide evidence of your right to work in the UK via the profile section.

Follow the instruction for the Right to Work check onboarding step. The check works the same.

Note: When you submitted your documents, your employer has to review them. Until they are satistifed, the check is not considered done. If you receive a notification from Credentially saying that the administrator declined your documents, you have to upload other (valid and up-to-date) files.

Right to Work statuses

The Right to Work check will have one of the following statuses on Credentially:

· Pending. It is a default status for newly-added people on Credentially, provided the right to work is initiated.

· On review. Administrators need to review all the right to work documents uploaded by the applicant.

· Declined. Applicants’ or existing employees’ actions are needed.

· Passed. Everything is okay. The approver and approval date are tracked under this status.

· Expires soon. This status means that at least one of the right to work documents will expire soon.

· Expired. This status means that at least one of the right to work documents has expired.
