Professional Registration Check – HCPC

HCPC: Health and Care Professions Council

Professional registration checks are essential and need to be continuously verified. At Credentially, we have an integrated system which checks a professional registration number daily against the HCPC database.

There are two ways to enter your number into the system:

· During onboarding

· In the 'Professional registration' tab

NOTE: Enter your PIN using uppercase letters instead of lowercase symbols. E.g. 99A9999A.

Once the correct PIN number is provided, Credentially will instantly check the registration against the HCPC database and you will see the status 'REGISTERED' on your screen.

If the registration is found, there will be a green light and the 'compliant' status next to the name.

HCPC History:

- Registered Conditions of Practice,

- Registered Interim Conditions of Practice,

- Registered Cautioned.

Also, it has a compliant impact on compliance status.

· HCPC Not Found means that the HCPC number is not found in the register; it has a non-compliant impact on compliance status.

· No HCPC Number means that the HCPC number is not entered on Credentially.; it has a non-compliant impact on compliance status.
