New Message is triggered when:
an email or SMS reminder is sent (outbound messages), and
when a customer replies to an email or SMS reminder (inbound messages).
You can setup different actions in Zapier for outbound and inbound messages by creating filters.
Create a filter for email or SMS messages
Use the Message Type field to filter on SMS or Email messages:
Create a filter for inbound messages (replies)
Use the Message Sender Type field to create a filter that selects only inbound or outbound messages.
Inbound messages (replies) have a Message Sender Type of "contact".
Outbound messages have a Message Sender Type that matches the name of the workflow that sent the message e.g. "Standard Process" or "Stop Work".
