To avoid your emails being marked as spam, and get to the candidate's main inbox, Here are few practices that might help you out:

1. Make sure to warm up your email address, especially if you’re sending dozens of emails daily. Send emails to persons you know well, and ask them to mark as "not spam" on their email client.

2. Keep an eye on bounce rate (all candidates emails are valid).

3. You can check to make sure your emails are being delivered successfully and using the feedback from this tool: https://www.mail-tester.com/

Create a new talent in Crew with the email address provided by the tool, email the applicant and refresh the screen, the tool will give you your deliverability score and tips to improve

4. You may also need to create a new email domain, specifically for recruiting (if you’re sending dozens of emails or have a recruiting campaign).
If outgoing emails to candidates are getting caught by spam filters due to the overall health of your company’s domain, consider asking your DevOps team to create a separate email domain for users on the recruiting team.

5. Create longer templates. Short emails, especially ones that include links, are more likely to be flagged as spam.

6. Customize the content (both for the email subject and email body) as much as you can, for each email that will be sent. Sending many identical messages all at once could increase your chance of being flagged as spam. Put simply: you make it too obvious to email clients to know that you are using an automation tool.

7. Verify that the DKIM and SPF records on your domain are set-up.
