When recruiting, we often send the same type of emails, such as :

  • Cold outreach emails

  • Rejection emails

  • Invitation to interview

  • ...

To help you gain some valuable time, you can set and use email templates in Crew

  • Open templates, on the "Emails" section

  • Hit "New template"

  • Add an internal name

(which only members of Crew can see)

  • Choose a sender

It can be

  • The email address of the sender : meaning the team member who will use this template. If your colleague "Paul" for example uses this template, the email will be sent from his email address

  • A specific team member : if you choose this option, by default when using this template the sender will be the email address of this team member. Typically you can use the email address "contact@companyname" for rejection email templates.

  • Add variables to subjects

  • Add variables to email body

πŸ’‘ Pro Tip

If you type " {{ " when writing your template, it does trigger the variable selector, so that you can select the desired variable super easily, without leaving your keyboard.
To type " { ":
- On Mac hit on your keyboard : Option + " ( "
- On PC hit on your keyboard : Alt + " [ "

  • Once set up, you can now use these templates when sending a new email to a talent

πŸ’‘ Pro tip

- You can link email templates to rejection reasons, to automate the emails sent when rejecting candidates! See more here.
- You can use email templates to send emails from the Chrome Extension.

- You can use email templates to create new email sequences/cadences (automated follow-ups) -> By using the "Select template" button.
