What to Expect

Our Emotify assessment is a game-based ability-based measure of emotional intelligence that is comprised of two separate mini-assessments. These assessments have been specifically developed to assess your ability to accurately perceive emotions, and effectively understand the connections between emotions, and situations that lead to specific emotional reactions.

Before commencing the assessments, you will be provided with information about the games you will be playing, as well as a tutorial containing an example question so you can see exactly what is required of you.

How to Prepare

Using & Managing Emotions assessment is designed to measure abilities that don’t really rely on any specific knowledge or previous study, and it’s not an assessment you can pass or fail. The aim of the assessment is to identify whether certain emotional intelligence abilities are likely to be strengths of yours. As such, there’s no specific study required before completing this assessment. The best thing you can do to prepare is to ensure you’re in a comfortable, distraction-free environment, and that you have read all the instructions carefully. You will also be able to see an example question before you begin the assessment, so you will know exactly what is required of you.
