Contact DooDs
Set your SW, HW, FW for distribution to your contacts. Enter start date, hold date(s), and finish date for crew or cast to automatically start, skip and stop distribution. No more having to wait for a start date to add a contact to distribution lists, or sending emails to crew that are not on the show anymore.
All the below features are found within the Contacts tab, under individual contact cards. Contacts can be edited using the 3 dot icon and selecting View/Edit.
Start Date
After entering a contact's email address, you can add the Start Date to commence distribution.
Upon selection, the field will display a calendar to enter your date:
All email to distribution lists that include the crew member will be skipped before their start date. When sending the email, a confirmation prompt is provided with the option to include the skipped contact:
End Date
On individual contact card, within the Contacts tab, after entering start email date for crew, the End Date to stop distribution is provided next:
Upon selection, the field will display a calendar to enter your date:
A notification alert will be provided 3 weeks prior to the End Date for any required administrative human resources related to the crew member.
One day before the End Date, a notification alert will be provided to request permission to remove crew member from distribution list(s) and/or database in 24hrs.
Hold Date
On the contact form, within the Contacts module, after entering end email date for crew, the Hold Date(s) to skip distribution is provided next:
Upon selection, the field will display a calendar to enter Hold Date(s), a single day can be picked or a range of dates:
Date(s) selected are displayed as tiles to efficiently manage and review.
Note: Multiple sets of Hold Dates may be entered.
All email to distribution lists that include the crew member will be skipped on their hold date(s). When sending the email, a confirmation prompt is provided with the option to include the skipped contact.

When adding contacts, you can add their start and end dates. By saving these dates to your contacts, you will be prompted to remove them from your recipient list once they've wrapped.

Easy! From Basecamp, select Track Distribution. On the left, you will find the list of all distributions made by all active users. Clicking on one will show the Distribution Report. By default, Distribution Reports are emailed to the sender - this can be adjusted in Production Settings.

Find and click the "Add Contact" widget at the top right corner of every page in Croogloo. From here, select vCard to drag and drop a file, Google Contact Import to sync with a google account to import contacts, or finally Template to drag and drop a completed Excel form - this template automatically downloads when selected or can be found under the Templates tab.
