It eliminates the need for expensive photo shoots or manual retouching by seamlessly integrating your product into a model image. This tool supports multiple categories, including apparel, accessories, beauty, and electronics.

How It Works

The AI Fashion Shoot creates realistic images by combining your uploaded product photo with a model image and styling environment.

Follow these steps to produce your output.

Step 1: Project Settings

Navigate to AI Fashion Shoot in your Crop.photo dashboard.

Configure your project:

Project Name

Give your project a descriptive name to easily identify it later.

Product Category

Select the category that best matches your product:

  • Apparel & Clothing

  • Footwear

  • Accessories

  • Jewelry

  • Beauty

  • Lifestyle

  • Other

This helps the AI determine the correct model fit and context.

Photoshoot Type

Choose your virtual photoshoot type:

  • Product On Model: Showcase a single product on a professional model. Ideal for PDP hero images and individual item displays.

  • Multi Product On Model: Style multiple products together on one model. Perfect for outfit combinations, product bundles, or showing customers how pieces complement each other.

Additional Context (Optional)

Add extra details to improve accuracy. Example: "Slim-fit men's t-shirt with round neck" or "Formal leather oxford shoes."

Step 2: Upload Your Product Images

Click Upload Product Image(s) or drag and drop your images into the upload area.

Supported formats: JPEG, PNG, WebP

Tips for best results:

  • Use high-quality product images with clear details

  • Flat-lay or ghost mannequin images work best

  • Ensure the product is well-lit and in focus

You can upload multiple product images. Each product will be processed with your selected model(s) and settings.

Step 3: Select Models

Choose the models for your photoshoot:

Preset Models

Pick from the available library featuring diverse options including male, female, various ethnicities, and body types.

Custom Models

Upload your own model images to maintain brand consistency:

  • Click the upload button to add your custom models

  • Uploaded models are saved for future use

  • You can rename or delete custom models as needed

Model Preview

Click on any model to see a larger preview before selecting.

Select one or more models. Each product image will be processed with each selected model to generate multiple variations.

Step 4: Customize Models' Look

Fine-tune how your product appears on the model:

Facial Expression

Select from presets:

  • Natural

  • Smile

  • Serious

  • Confident

Pose Preset

Choose a predefined pose:

  • Let AI decide – The AI automatically selects the best pose for your product

  • Standing

  • Walking

  • Sitting

  • Dynamic (Lifestyle)

  • Professional

Angles

Select the camera view:

  • Front view

  • Side view

  • Three-quarter view

Hand Position

Specify hand placement:

  • Natural

  • On hips

  • By sides

  • Crossed

  • In pockets

These options let you position the model just right, so your product gets maximum attention.

Step 5: Set the Scene

Define the visual environment for your product image.

Lighting Style

Choose from:

  • Studio flat – Even, shadowless lighting

  • Natural light – Soft, window-based lighting

  • Dramatic – High contrast with defined shadows

  • Soft portrait – Diffused, flattering light

  • High key – Bright, minimal shadows

  • Low key – Dark, moody atmosphere

Color Temperature

Adjust warmth or coolness to match your brand tone:

  • Natural

  • Warm

  • Cool

  • Neutral

  • Daylight

  • Tungsten

Background Options

Varies per image:

  • Keep Original – Preserve the model's existing background

  • Match Dominant Color – Generate a background based on your product's primary color

Fixed across images:

  • Transparent – Export with a transparent background for reuse

  • White – Professional, catalog-style background

  • Solid Color – Apply a specific brand color (HEX-supported)

  • Plain Studio – Clean, neutral studio backdrop with customizable color

  • AI Generate – Describe the desired look (e.g., "urban outdoor" or "soft studio lighting") and let AI create it

  • Upload Custom – Upload your own background image

Step 6: Preview & Generate

Review all settings in the Preview panel:

  • Project category and photoshoot type

  • Uploaded product images

  • Selected models

  • Models' look settings (expression, pose, angle, hand position)

  • Scene settings (lighting, color temperature, background)

To make changes, click Edit beside any section to go back to that step.

Once satisfied, click Generate.

The system will process your images and display the final outputs. You can then download your generated images.
