What is an Automation?

Automation is a series of retouching actions that are automatically applied to every single image associated with it. Think of them as a way to let our AI do multiple actions that you would normally do one by one, using a tool like Adobe Photoshop.

Why use an Automation?

Two main reasons:

  1. Simply to save tons of time. For example, if an automation for each of your image saves you 2 minutes of retouching and you process 100 images a day you just saved yourself 200 minutes!

  2. Get repeatable, consistent results. For example, your digital asset manager needs to ensure all images send to a marketplace are resized to 3450x4129 pixels and have a white background. Using an Automation ensures there will be no mistakes when processing lots of images.
