Before you start raising money on Crowdfunder, please check that you meet the following requirements.
1. You are 18 years of age or older
Individuals under 18 years of age are not permitted to create or run projects independently. A parent or legal guardian must create the account and manage the project on their behalf. This adult must also supervise the minor's use of the platform, verify their own identity, provide bank account information, and assume full responsibility for all aspects of the project, as detailed in our terms of use.
2. You have a UK bank account that is registered to a UK address
These requirements are in place to comply with regional financial regulations, ensuring smooth fund transfers and legal adherence.
Funds raised will need to be paid out to a UK bank account that is registered to a UK address. This ensures seamless fund transfers and compliance with regional financial regulations. Please note that this requirement applies exclusively to Crowdfunder.co.uk. For users based in the USA, Crowdfunder.com is available and requires a USA bank account and address.
