Why is my project flagged?

What to do if your project is flagged for review.

Updated over 2 months ago

If your project has been flagged, it means our system has detected something in your project content that may need a closer look before it goes live.

This doesn't necessarily mean there's a problem β€” it could simply be that you've used a word or phrase which, in certain contexts, might not align with our platform guidelines. In these cases, your project is flagged for a review by our team to ensure everything is suitable and within our community standards. Projects may be flagged for reasons such as the use of prohibited terms (e.g., "raffle" or "returns on investment"), or inclusion of restricted content, or compliance issues.

Common Reasons for Project Flagging

Projects are often flagged for the following reasons:

  1. Prohibited Content: This includes the use of restricted terms like "raffle" or 'returns on investment' or references to prohibited items.

  2. Financial Regulation Compliance: Terms suggesting equity or returns on investment can lead to flags.

  3. Guideline Violations: Content containing spam-like terms or inappropriate language may be flagged. Users should carefully review these potential issues and revise their projects accordingly.

We appreciate your patience while we carry out any review. To help expedite the process, consider these steps: review flagged content in the Admin section, make necessary adjustments by removing restricted terms or non-compliant content, and then resubmit your project for approval.
