Common reasons that the documents are not accepted to verify your account are as follows below. Check through these and try uploading your documents again in the 'Financials' section of your edit project dashboard.
Problem - The personal name or address details you entered do not exactly match the details on the ID or proof of address document. For example you entered Sam as the personal details, but your passport reads Samuel.
Solution - You can edit these details when you upload your ID again here:
Problem - All the corners and edges of the passport or driver's licence aren't visible.
Solution - Scan or take a photo that includes all of the edges of the ID.
Problem - The file is not in .jpg or .png format.
Solution - Change the file to this format.
Problem - The image is in black and white.
Solution - Scan or take a photo of the ID in colour.
Problem - The address document is expired.
Solution - Please ensure the full page is shown, that your full name and address is visible and it is within 6 months old.
Problem - The file is too big.
Solution - Reduce the file size to under 8MB in size.
You will receive an email once the documents have been reviewed. Reviews can take our payment provider up to 48 hours to complete.
