Adding a visual element to your project page can really help to promote your idea and generate supporter interest. You can upload a short video that tells the story of your project or an eye-catching image to the top of your page.
First, select the 'Project page' tab.
Next, you'll have the option to upload an image. Ensure it is a high-quality JPG or PNG file, and the resolution is at least 1600 x 900 pixels, but no larger than 2MB.

Just below this option, there is a box where you can add a YouTube or Vimeo link. To include videos in your Crowdfunder project, you must first upload them to Vimeo or YouTube in order to embed the link.
Keep your video short and concise, as supporters only want to learn about you and your idea. Recording it on your phone is perfectly fine.
🗒️ Please note: YouTube Shorts are in the same format as TikTok or Instagram videos and cannot be uploaded as they are. To reformat the link for your project and successfully upload a YouTube Short, replace the word "shorts" in the URL with "embed.". For example; change https://www.youtube.com/shorts/iLOz60I2PuI to
🗒️ Please note: If you add a video to your page it will display instead of your main header image, not as well as. The image will however be visible in your project thumbnail (example below).
CAN I ADD MORE THAN ONE IMAGE OR VIDEO?
You can add more images and videos by scrolling down to the 'tell your story' section, where you'll find two icons that allow you to insert a video or image.

DO I HAVE TO ADD A VIDEO BEFORE I CAN LAUNCH MY PROJECT?
It is not mandatory to include a video, but we highly recommend doing so to bring your project story to life. Many supporters are more likely to watch a video than read the text on your page, so having a compelling visual can significantly enhance the success of your project. Additionally, it gives your audience a chance to see the people behind the project.
