Adding the visual element to your project page can really help to promote your idea and generate supporter interest. You can upload an eye-catching image to the top of your page or a short video that tells the story of your project.
First, log into your account, go to 'my projects' then select the 'project page' tab.
Next, you'll see the option to add an image. Make sure it's a good quality JPG or PNG file and high resolution too – at least 1600 x 900 pixels but no larger than 2Mb.
Just below this option, there's a box for you to add a YouTube or Vimeo link. Remember to keep the video short and concise – supporters just want to know about you and your idea, so recording it on your phone is good enough.
CAN I ADD MORE THAN ONE IMAGE OR VIDEO?
Yes, you can! Scroll down to the 'tell your story' section and you'll see two icons that allow you to embed further images and videos into your project page copy.

DO I HAVE TO ADD A VIDEO BEFORE I CAN LAUNCH MY PROJECT?
No, it is not mandatory to have a video! However, we do recommend adding one to help bring your project story to life. A large number of supporters will be more likely to watch a video than read the copy on your page, so a compelling visual can really contribute to the success of your project. What's more, it's an opportunity for people to see who's behind the project.
