Profiles act as a landing page for your charity and have no deadlines or targets, they are designed to stay open as long as the Charity chooses and they can accept card payments.

Important note: If you have a Charity Profile page and want to apply for Extra Funding towards your cause, start a new project from your dashboard as most Extra Funding can NOT be added directly to your profile page.

Once you have a Charity Profile page, you can run a project from it that will feed into the charity bank account that you registered to your profile. Just click 'My charity'.

Then click 'New project' and start a project or a prize draw if relevant.

If you do not yet have a Charity Profile page set up, you may want to just run a single project for a specific cause to raise funds for your charity.

If you are short of time and want to get fundraising immediately this may also be the best option for you as Charity Profiles require extra due diligence checks to be done which can take up to a couple of weeks to verify. You can still use the charity's bank account to collect the funds and select to add GiftAid and collect the Gift Aid declarations. You can always set up your Charity Profile afterwards.
