You can add Animated GIFs from Giphy's Animated library to enhance your multiple-choice answer options. With just a few clicks, you can add:

  • A hilarious meme

  • A famous scene from a movie

  • An animated celebrity or political figure

  • Cartoons from famous movies (e.g. Elsa from Frozen)

To add a GIF, first navigate to the Experience Dashboard. Next, go to the blue Questions tab and select the question tab of the question you would like to add a GIF to. Look for the camera icon located on the right of the answer option and under the Edit button.

Choosing a GIF

Once you click the camera icon, a blue pop-up box with a search bar and examples of animated GIFs will display. You can choose from the trending GIFs or search for a particular one. For this example, we are searching for "Disney characters" GIFs to add to the answer option.

Once you've selected your desired GIF(s), they will automatically be added to the specified answer options for the question.

Where are answer images shown? Added GIFs will display to the left of the answer choices on the Presentation View and under the question's text on the Participant View.

Removing an Answer's Text Label

If you do not wish to display any text for your answer image options, you can remove the text labels by clearing out all text from the answer option's text field.

First, click on the answer option's text field directly or the blue Edit button with a pencil icon to bring down the answer option's Edit Panel. Next, highlight all of the answer text.

The default text is highlighted for the answer option.

Next, delete the text content by pressing the Backspace or Delete key on your keyboard to remove the text. Finally, click the green Save button or simply press the Enter key to save your changes. Once you've cleared out the text field, three dashes (---) will appear to indicate that the answer option has no text label.

Once you've successfully added your GIFs to all answer options, the GIFs will be displayed on the Presentation View whenever that particular question is displayed. GIFs are displayed within the various answer options for your entire crowd to see.

There are also default design touches to beautifully and uniquely present your answer images when either the Show Live Answer Results (A) or Show Correct Answer (C) are enabled.
