For Polls and Trivia Games, the most common question type is Multiple-Choice. Multiple Choice questions allow your audience to choose one answer from several answer options you have added to your question.

By default, any new question's type is Multiple-Choice when added, but you can always set an existing Question Type to Multiple-Choice. When adding a blank question or setting a question to Multiple-Choice, four default Multiple-Choice answer options will be added. You can then edit these answers' text to the answer options you want for your question.

Editing Multiple Choice Answers

To edit a Multiple-Choice answer, simply click on the Edit (pencil) button on the lower right side of the answer box. A pop-up will display that allows you to edit the answer's text and/or set the answer color. Changing an answer's color will change it throughout Crowdpurr, including the Presentation View and Participant View. After editing an answer's text, press the green Save (checkmark) button next to the text input.

Changing Answer Option Colors

To edit an answer's color, click the Edit button on the lower right side of the answer box and then click the color you want to set it to under the Change Answer Color section.

For Conference Plan users and higher, you can set your own custom answer color by either typing in a specific hex color code or clicking on the color wheel. You can even adjust the color transparency for your chosen answer color by adjusting the opacity levels located to the right of the color box as displayed below.

Adding Multiple Choice Answers

To add a new answer, click the gray Add Answer box at the bottom of the existing answers list.

Added answers will use the next color on the list and always start with the default text, "Answer Option"

Viewing Multiple Choice Answer Options on the Presentation View

By design, the Presentation View will display 5 answer options for the Active Question before rotating to display the next set of answer options.

If a question has more than five answer options, then the first five will be shown before displaying the next group of answer options in sets of five, as displayed below:

The Presentation View automatically cycles to show the next set of five answer options.

Add Answer Images

You can also add images to your answer options. For instance, you can add Animated GIFs from Giphy and Stock Images from Pixabay. If you're on the Classroom Plan or higher, you can even upload your images to answer options.

To add an image to a Multiple-Choice answer option, find the camera button located to the right of the individual answer options. Upon clicking on the camera button, you'll be prompted to select the type of Answer Image you'd like to add to the answer option.
