Text Answer questions allow you to enter multiple correct answers so you can add different variations on the correct answer in case your participants enter a misspelled response, a variation/rephrasing of the correct answer, etc.
For example, if your trivia question asks, "Where does the President of the United States of America live?" The answer could technically be many phrases like:
The White House
White House
1600 Pennsylvania Ave
1600 Penn Ave
Etc.
Crowdpurr allows you to enter up to 10 Correct Answer variations to try and capture as many correct responses as possible from your participants.

Editing one of the Correct Answers for the Text Answer question
What are some best practices when using the Text Answer question type? When using Text Answer questions, correct answers should be kept to single or minimal words whenever possible. This helps with matching your audience's responses. To minimize players submitting a variety of responses, you should write questions in a way that results in single-word answers.
For example, "What is the last name of the former Heisman Trophy running back who was tried for murdering his wife?" The correct answer you should input is Simpson. Adding the "last name" part of the question keeps your crowd from adding answers like OJ, OJ Simpson, Orenthal J. Simpson, etc. which would be marked wrong if your correct answer is Simpson.
Add Additional Correct Answers
Since Text Answer and Numerical Answer questions allow you to have multiple correct answers, this can help with the aforementioned responses that don't exactly match a single correct answer value by adding in multiple variations of the correct answer to match more common responses.
Simply click the Add Another button, type in your additional answer, and click the green Save (checkmark) button or press the Enter key to instantly save the answer.

How many correct answer variations can I add? You may add up to 10 Correct Answer variations to account for as many variations as possible.
Correct Answer variations matches get updated! When an incoming response matches one of your correct answer variations that response will be updated to match your first correct answer from the Correct Answer(s) section of the question. Crowdpurr assumes your first correct answer is the most accurate and updates all matches to this value. The same is true if you mark an incorrect text answer as correct. It will be updated and grouped with the first correct answer from your list of Correct Answers.
