How Do Crowdpurr Polls Work?
Crowdpurr Polls allow you to ask your audience opinion-based questions like:
Who is your favorite President of the United States?
How would you rate the conference keynote speaker?
How can we improve our company?
Which benefits are most important to you as an employee?
Who do you nominate for employee of the year?
What questions do you have for our guest speaker this evening?
Unlike a trivia game, there is no right or wrong answer in a poll - only your crowd's opinion-based feedback.
Poll Types & Question Types
There are several different types of polls you can create on the Create Experience page.

Poll types are shortcuts. Use any of the poll shortcut buttons to quickly get started. Later, you can add, remove, and change the type of questions in your poll. All of the below question-types explained below are available.
You can add any of the following questions types to your poll.
Multiple-Choice Questions
Multiple-choice questions allow your crowd to choose from multiple answer options that you add in addition to your question. You can add up to 100 answer options. |

Text Answer Questions
Text answer questions are open-ended questions that require your crowd to type in their own answer using their mobile device's keyboard.
Answer responses can be quite varied because the crowd makes up their own. Answers that are the same are automatically grouped together. |

Numerical Answer Questions
Numerical answer questions are similar to text answer questions; however, this question only accepts a number, and the keyboard shown to your crowd is a numerical keyboard versus a full-text keyboard. Similar to text answer questions, the same numerical answer is automatically grouped together.

Like or Dislike Questions
Like or Dislike questions are a simple variation on multiple-choice questions where participants either choose to "like" or "dislike" the question using special buttons created specifically for this question type.
This is a great way to get the overall feel from your crowd on a variety of topics your present to them as questions. |

Yes or No Questions
Yes or No questions are a simple variation on multiple-choice questions where participants either choose a "yes" or "no" response to the question using special buttons created specifically for this question type.
This is a great way to vote on topics for your organization or event. |

Drag & Drop Order
The Drag & Drop Order question type allows your participants to drag the answer options into their desired order. When the Show Live Answer Results display is enabled, Crowdpurr will animate the answers into the top-voted order.
This is a great way to allow your participants to rank the priority of a given topic related to your event or organization.

Poll Lead Capture
You will likely want to know more about who your participants are. By default, polls will run anonymously, meaning no identity or lead capture information is collected from your participants. In many use-cases, an anonymous poll is required.
However, you can choose to collect participant lead capture data including fields like:
First name
Last name
Address
Email
Age
Phone Number
Additionally, users on the Seminar Plan or higher, can add custom lead capture fields and collect custom fields you create (e.g. employee number, cable provider, etc.). You can also create custom checkboxes and dropdown selection inputs.
Presenting Live Poll Results
During the poll, you can show the results from your crowd in real time. The idea of a poll is to gather information and/or feedback from your crowd. You can then visualize the crowd responses in the Presentation View in a live bar chart. The Presentation View opens up in a separate desktop web browser tab. It can be put in Full-Screen mode and displayed on your Extended Desktop when your computer is connected to any external projectors or HDTV screens similar to a PowerPoint or Keynote presentation. You can also choose not to show live poll results from your crowd. Alternatively, you can wait and show them at the end of each question. Or at the end of your entire poll in a "review" session. The choice is yours.

Exporting Poll Results
If you've upgraded to the Classroom Plan or higher, when your poll is complete, every vote from every participant can be exported as a CSV file spreadsheet for import into Excel or Google Sheets.
