How do I auto-approve assets from my own Instagram account?
After connecting your Instagram account, turn on automatic rights approval for its content:
Go to Settings > UGC > Your Meta Accounts > Instagram.
Click the three dots on the account.
Select Enable auto-rights approve.

When this setting is enabled:
All new content from your account are automatically marked as rights-approved.
This change is not retroactive. Existing posts remain unchanged and must be approved manually if needed.
How do I auto-approve usage rights for followed accounts?
❗ Heads up: Available on the Engagement Pro and Enterprise plans.
If you work with partners or creators who have given you blanket permission to use their content, you can skip the manual approval step. An administrator can turn on automatic rights approval for any Instagram account you follow.
Go to Settings > Followed Accounts.
Click the three dots on the account.
Select Enable auto-rights approve.
When you enable it, add a permission note and, optionally, attach supporting documents such as an email confirmation or partnership agreement.

When this setting is enabled:
This change is not retroactive. Existing content in the platform remains unchanged and must be approved manually if needed. Any new content that account posts is marked as rights-approved when it appears in your library.
The permission note, attachments, who turned it on, and when all appear on each rights-approved asset's Licensing tab, so usage rights stay easy to track.
If you turn off automatic rights approval or stop following the account, new content are no longer approved automatically. Any previously approved assets keep their status.
