Overview
The Core Alpha strategy is a "set-and-forget" feature that automatically moves your daily rewards into the strongest parts of the Bittensor network. It tracks the Top 20 subnets for you, so you don't have to watch the leaderboard every day.
How it Works
Always Following the Leaders: The "Top 20" list is live. If a new project enters the Top 20, the Smart Allocator automatically starts sending your new rewards there. If a project falls out of the top rankings, the allocator stops sending it new rewards.
Daily "DCA" Staking: Every day, your new rewards from ROOT are sent to these top projects. This is a "Dollar Cost Averaging" (DCA) approach—it builds your positions slowly over time.
One Step at a Time: Because every project on Bittensor requires a minimum amount of TAO to "start" staking, the allocator works sequentially. It finishes staking in the #1 project before moving to #2, and so on.
Will it Sell My Other Tokens?
No. The Smart Allocator only works with your newly earned rewards.
If a project falls out of the Top 20, the allocator simply stops sending it new rewards.
It will never automatically sell or move the TAO you already have in those projects. You are always in total control of your past balances.
Recommended Balance
This feature works best if you have ~15 or more TAO in your main wallet (ROOT).
Why? With 15+ TAO, you generate rewards fast enough to "fill" the minimum staking requirements for various projects every few days.
If you have less than 15T, the tool still works, but it will take longer for your rewards to reach the amount needed to appear in a new project.
