Overview
The Custom strategy is for users who want to hand-pick which subnets receive their daily rewards. It uses the same "one-by-one" (sequential) staking logic as Core Alpha, but you control the list.
How it Works
Select Your Subnets: In the Crucible smart allocator setup, choose the subnets you want to allocate to.
Sequential Staking: The Smart Allocator will start with the first subnet in your list. Once your daily rewards meet that subnet's minimum staking requirement, it moves to the next subnet on your list.
Hands-Off Daily DCA: Once your list is saved, Crucible handles the daily transactions for you, building your balances in your chosen projects over time.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I change my list? Yes. You can add or remove subnets at any time.
What if I have a small amount of TAO? The allocator will still work, but it may take several days of earning rewards before you see your first stake appear in a custom project. We recommend having ~15+ TAO for the fastest results.
Does it sell my other tokens? No. The allocator only uses new rewards. It never touches the tokens you have already staked or the TAO in your main wallet.
