Ending your lease? Here’s everything you need to know to make the process smooth and stress-free:

📝 Termination notice

  • Make sure at least the first 12 months of your contract have passed.

  • We need at least one full month's notice, starting from the 1st of the month.

📦 Don’t forget to arrange cancellations with:

  • District heating

  • Water provider (Waternet)

  • Electricity supplier

  • Internet provider

🕵️ Pre-inspection

You can book a pre-inspection right after submitting your termination request, to be taken place as soon as possible, but no later than 2 weeks before the end date of the contract.

We’ll walk through the apartment and let you know if anything needs fixing.

🧽 Final inspection & handing over the keys

  • This happens on the day of your key-handover.

  • Make sure your apartment is returned in the same condition as when you moved in.

  • You are allowed to..

  • Pay special attention to cleaning kitchen appliances, the toilet, and the shower.
Please note that insufficient cleaning may result in emergency cleaning costs being deducted from your deposit.

  • Any damage or unauthorized changes? Be sure to communicate and fix these before the final check.

  • We collect the keys immediately at the final inspection.

No more work can be done after that!
