Explanation:
The rental agreement states that the landlord is responsible for:
“Cleaning of the common areas including the parking garage, as well as the cleaning of those façade windows which do not adjoin a balcony.”
This means:
The common areas (such as hallways, stairwells, and the parking garage) are cleaned by the landlord.
Only façade windows that are not accessible to the tenant, such as those not adjoining a balcony or not reachable from inside, are included in the landlord’s window cleaning services.
Windows that are accessible to the tenant (e.g., balcony-facing windows or windows that can be reached from inside the apartment) are not covered by the standard cleaning services.
Optional Additional Service
We understand that some residents may find it unsafe to clean their own windows. For this reason, we are currently in discussions with a professional window cleaning company. For a fee, this company could visit individual apartments to clean windows either from inside or outside.
Please note:
A previous window cleaning round was carried out once in combination with façade renovation and was not part of the regular services.
Latest update:
As soon as there is more clarity about the optional window cleaning service, we will inform all residents.
