What AWD gives you
4% off trading fees on perpetual futures and spot.
The discount runs until you have traded $25 million. The Referrals page shows how much you have used.
It does not apply to vaults or sub-accounts. Hyperliquid treats them as separate accounts.
One account can have one referral code. Once it is set, it cannot be changed.

How to use code AWD
Open app.hyperliquid.xyz/join/AWD and check the address bar shows app.hyperliquid.xyz.
Connect a wallet or log in with email.
Open the Referrals page and check it shows AWD. If it shows no code, enter AWD there.
Deposit USDC. Wallet accounts deposit on Arbitrum only, and deposits below 5 USDC are lost.
Place your first trade and check the fee in your trade history.
Why some codes promise 10% or a lifetime discount
Hyperliquid's docs give referred users 4% for the first $25 million. The 10% figure is what the referrer earns: 10% of your fees, minus your discount. It is not your saving. And the discount is not lifetime: after $25 million, you pay the normal rate for your tier.
What the code does not change
Funding. Longs and shorts pay each other every hour.
Spread and price impact. These come from the order book.
App fees. Wallets and front ends that route orders with a builder code can add their own fee.
FAQ
Can I add AWD after I start trading?
If your account has no code yet, you can enter AWD on the Referrals page. Do it before your first trade to be safe. An account that already has a code cannot switch.
Is Hyperliquid available in the US?
No. Hyperliquid's terms bar persons in the United States and Ontario, Canada, and in sanctioned jurisdictions.
Does AWD work on sub-accounts?
No. Referral discounts do not apply to vaults or sub-accounts.
