Hyperliquid referral code: AWD (app.hyperliquid.xyz/join/AWD) takes 4% off your fees for your first $25 million of volume. This page covers the other ways Hyperliquid fees go down, and how they combine. Checked 8 October 2026 against the Hyperliquid fee docs.

The three ways to lower Hyperliquid fees

  1. Referral code AWD: 4% off, first $25M of volume.

  2. Volume tiers: based on your 14-day weighted volume. Spot volume counts double.

  3. HYPE staking: 5% to 40% off, depending on how much HYPE you stake.

Worked example

Tier 0, Bronze staking (10% off) and code AWD (4% off). The 0.045% taker fee falls to about 0.0405% after staking and about 0.039% after the referral discount. On $1,000,000 of monthly taker volume, that is roughly $390 instead of $450. This is an illustration; your trade history shows the exact fee.

Deposit rules

  • Wallet accounts: USDC on Arbitrum only. Deposits below 5 USDC are lost.

  • Email accounts: USDC on Arbitrum, Base, Ethereum or Polygon, minimum 1 USDC.

  • Send a small test deposit first if you are unsure of the network.

After $25 million

The AWD discount stops after your first $25 million of volume. Volume tiers and HYPE staking keep working.

Referral codes vs builder codes

A referral code lowers your fee. A builder code is a fee that an app adds when it sends your orders to Hyperliquid. If you trade through a third-party app, check its builder fee.
