Dear hunters,
We have decided that due to the unfair advantages it provides, the use of Reshade will be classed as an exploit. You will not be banned for having ReShade, but you will no longer be able to play Hunt: Showdown while it is activated. Please make sure to uninstall ReShade before launching the game, to continue playing.
Sadly, due to the fact that this software acts on post processing, it was not possible for us to provide appropriate messaging.
Users affected will see the following errors on Launch:
In order to launch the game again, you will have to first uninstall Reshade from the Hunt folder. This is pretty simple, here's how:
Run the ReShade setup file. Download it again from https://reshade.me/ if you don't have it.
Select Hunt: Showdown and click Next. You'll see a list of popular games in the window.
If you don't see your game, click Browse… below the list. Navigate to the game's folder and select HuntGame.exe file. Click Open, then Next.
Select the rendering API and click Next. Hunt: Showdown uses Microsoft DirectX 10/11/12, so make sure to tick this option.
Select "Uninstall". Click "Next", then "Finish".
Restart your computer.
Once you have done this, you will be able to play the game normally.
