What’s the difference between SD, HD and Peak biomass imagery?
What’s the difference between SD, HD and Peak biomass imagery?
Updated over a year ago

When using DecipherAg you have a range of imagery quality to select from: High definition, standard definition and peak definition.

High definition biomass imagery:

DecipherAg users also have access to high definition (HD), 10m per pixel resolution for even greater NDVI detail from the Sentinel satellites, daily, month on month and for a season. Turn HD imagery on by clicking the HD button under the Image quality section in the biomass panel.

Standard definition biomass imagery:

Standard definition (SD), 30m per pixel resolution NDVI biomass imagery, with daily, monthly and seasonal options. DecipherAg merges images from two satellites (Landsat 7 and 8) so we can give you the best representation of the highest (peak) plant growth per pixel, month on month.

Peak definition biomass imagery:

Get the best of both, with access to peak definition, which merges SD and HD to show you the full plant growth per pixel, month on month and for a season. Turn Peak imagery on by clicking the Peak button under the Image quality section in the biomass panel.
