You can incorporate your own knowledge of your soils by adjusting the zone boundaries yourself.

To edit your zones:

  • Click on "Zones" in the left hand column.

  • Select the appropriate zone in the list.

  • Click on the down arrow to select the farm and show its paddocks.

  • Click on the three dot menu icon next to the name of the paddock you'd like to edit.

  • Select "Add/edit zones" from the menu.

  • A toolbox will appear with Draw, Click and Paint options.

  • The drop down box displays the zone that any editing you do will add to the zone map. Click on the down arrow in the box to change it.

Draw

  • A free hand drawing tool.

  • Hold down the left mouse button to draw.

  • When you release the button the shape will auto complete, adding a line back to starting point.

  • You can adjust any or all of the points before saving.

  • Click on "save" to complete the change or "cancel" to continue without making the change.

Click

  • For adding polygons and more regular shapes.

  • This is useful if you wish to change an entire paddock.

  • Click once on your start point, then click each corner of the shape you wish to add.

  • Click back on your starting point to close the polygon.

  • You can adjust any or all of the points before saving.

  • Click on "save" to complete the change or "cancel" to continue without making the change.

Paint

  • Ideal for removing one zone from within another.

  • This will fill a shape, changing it to the selected zone.

  • Click inside the shape you wish to fill.

  • Click on "save" to complete the change or "cancel" to continue without making the change.

All the tools will clip the shapes added to the edges of the zone map, so don't worry if you draw outside the lines.

  • You can also access the edit options using the menu icon next to each zone in your zone map, by selecting the paddock and "Edit zone".

  • When you access the tools this way, the drop down box will be automatically populated with the zone you chose.

  • Select "Save" after each edit

TIP: Turn on your samples by clicking the Samples Tab, to have your sample results displayed over the top of your zones. This way you can use the sample results to make decisions as you edit your zones.
