All MoonBundle subscriptions are billed through Shopify’s official billing system (Shopify App Charges).
We do not use any third-party billing, everything is handled transparently through Shopify.
Key Points
7-day free trial: You won’t be charged until the trial ends.
Independent billing cycle: Monthly plans follow their own 30-day cycle, separate from your general Shopify billing.
No automatic charges: You must manually approve all subscription fees before they’re applied.
Switching Plans
You can change plans anytime, whether upgrading or downgrading.
Immediate Change:
When you switch from one paid plan to another:
Shopify asks you to approve a new subscription (only one active per app is allowed)
The old plan ends immediately
The new plan starts right away
End-of-Cycle Change:
If you switch at the end of your cycle, your next invoice will reflect the new plan.
Mid-Cycle Change (Prorated Billing):
New charge = Old plan price + (New plan – Old plan) × (Remaining days ÷ 30)
Example – Upgrade:
Switching from $14.99 to $29.99 after 10 days:
→ $14.99 + ($29.99 − $14.99) × (20 ÷ 30) = $24.99
Example – Downgrade:
Switching from $29.99 to $14.99 after 10 days:
→ $29.99 + ($14.99 − $29.99) × (20 ÷ 30) = $19.99
Shopify handles all prorated calculations, you only pay for what you use.
Uninstalling the App
Uninstalling MoonBundle automatically cancels your subscription.
You will not be billed for future cycles, but if you uninstall mid-cycle, Shopify will still charge you for the current period.
Reinstalling the App
Reinstalling starts a new billing cycle. It’s independent from the old one.
If unsure about charges, just contact support via the in-app chat — we’ll help you check and adjust if needed.
Pausing Your Store
If you pause your Shopify store (e.g., $9/month plan), customers can’t check out, but apps remain active.
To avoid being charged during pause, uninstall or cancel MoonBundle first.
Resuming Your Store
When you reactivate your store, MoonBundle resumes automatically, same plan, same settings.
Closing Your Store
If you permanently close your store while MoonBundle is still installed and on a paid plan, we’ll automatically cancel your subscription.
Note: Shopify may still bill you for the active cycle, or defer the charge until the store is reopened.
Frozen Store / Reactivation
If Shopify freezes your store (e.g., failed payments), we’ll cancel your MoonBundle subscription.
The app stays installed, and when you pay the balance and reopen within 30 days, the subscription resumes automatically.
FAQs
Why does it look like I was charged twice in one month?
It’s not a double charge. If your MoonBundle billing date lands just after your Shopify cycle ends, it’ll appear on the next invoice. Why was I charged even though I canceled right after subscribing?
Shopify charges immediately after subscription approval, not at the end of the cycle. Even if you cancel right after, the charge will appear, that’s standard behavior.
