Two-Factor Authentication
Two-Factor Authentication, also known as 2FA, helps keep your CSGR account more secure by adding an extra verification step when you log in.
Instead of relying only on your password, 2FA requires a 6-digit code from your authenticator app. This makes it much harder for someone else to access your account, even if they know your password.
How 2FA works
After enabling 2FA, you will be asked to enter a 6-digit code whenever you log in to your account.
This code is generated by your authenticator app and changes regularly. Open the app, copy the current code, and enter it when prompted during login.
Authenticator apps you can use
You can use most standard authenticator apps, such as:
Google Authenticator
Microsoft Authenticator
Authy
Make sure you keep access to the app linked to your account, as you will need it each time 2FA is required.
If you lose access to your authenticator app
If you can no longer access your authenticator app, please contact our Support team.
For security reasons, we may need to verify that you are the account owner before making any changes to your 2FA settings.
Security reminder
Never share your password or 6-digit 2FA code with anyone.
CSGR staff will never ask you for your password or authenticator code. Keeping 2FA enabled is one of the best ways to protect your account from unauthorized access.
