NOTE : ACCOUNT NOT DISPLAYED IN THE Ctrl POP-UP

If none of your accounts appear in the Ctrl selection pop-up :

1.
Make sure you have only selected chains from the decentralized application interface that are likely to be managed by the type of accounts you manage with your Ctrl extension.

For example, you can't select the Ethereum blockchain on a decentralized application if you only have a Bitcoin hardware wallet account

2.

From the Home screen, click on 'Dapps'

├ Select any EVM chain

├ Refresh the webpage

For all other problems, follow the steps below:

1️⃣ Make sure that your Ctrl Wallet extension is updated
From your web browser interface, click on :
Extensions (a puzzle piece icon)
├ Manage Extensions
├ Ctrl Wallet
├ Details
├ Turn ON the Developer mode (in the upper right corner)
├ Update

2️⃣ Make sure that your Ctrl Wallet extension can read and change site data on all sites : Right-click on the Ctrl Wallet extension icon
├ This can read and change site data
├ On All Sites

3️⃣ Make sure to enable the "Prioritise Ctrl" option from the Ctrl Wallet Settings then refresh the webpage of the decentralized application (dApp) you are trying to connect to

4️⃣ Make sure you are using the right Mode (Mainnet or Testnet) (Enable/Disable the Testnet option available in the Ctrl Wallet Settings)

5️⃣ From the Ctrl Wallet pop-up, make sure to inject the right EVM network (Ethereum / BNB Smart Chain (BSC) / Polygon / Avalanche / Fantom / Arbitrum / Optimism / Gnosis / Canto / Klaytn / Aurora etc.)

6️⃣ Revoke the active connection linked to the decentralized application you are trying to connect to
Open the Ctrl Wallet extension
├ Click on the 'Dapps' button in the upper-right corner of the Home screen
├ Connections

then :

possibility #1
├ Select the right line/decentralized application (dApp)
├ Click on the radio button for each account you wish to disconnect

├ Or click on '🔌 Disconnect all'

OR

possibility #2

├ Click on the 🔌 button to disconnect all dapps

7️⃣ Clear your web browser history via the Advanced tab
├ Scroll down to select all kind of data
├ Time range: All time

OR

Click on the🔒 (lock) icon near the URL of the decentralized application (dApp)
├ Cookies and site data
├ Manage cookies and site data
├ Remove everything

8️⃣ Save everything you need and close all the tabs and your web browser, close the web browser itself (Quit / Kill the process) and reopen it

9️⃣ Turn OFF the split tunneling & kill switch options of the VPN.
Change server location.
Turn OFF the VPN itself or try with the VPN ON.

1️⃣0️⃣ Try temporarily disabling other installed and active web extensions from your web browser's extension manager (puzzle icon) (no need to uninstall any of them)

1️⃣1️⃣ Double check the rules of your firewall

1️⃣2️⃣ Double check the permissions of your antivirus software

1️⃣3️⃣ Try installing the Ctrl Wallet extension on another Chromium-based web browser (Chrome, Edge, Opera, Brave...)

1️⃣4️⃣ With the first extension :

Save all your seed phrase(s) (there is 1 per wallet) and private keys (for imported accounts) + create a .json backup (Settings > Wallet management > Back up all wallets) ├ Right click on the extension icon

├ Options

├ Clear all storage and refresh (please note that you need to save everything before, this action is not reversible)
