How to add Custom networks (EVM networks or Cosmos chains)

> Open your Ctrl extension

> Click on the 'Settings' button

> Select 'Network settings'

> From the 'Network settings' interface, you can : .

. 🔍 Search a specific blockchain

. ⛓️ Filter chains

. View settings to sort by network name, chain ID or Currency

. + Add a custom network (Click on this button)

> You can now select the ecosystem in which the network you wish to add operates : .

. EVM Etherum Virtual Machine (Ethereum-based networks) .

. Cosmos IBC Compatible Networks > Search the network you want to add by using the

> Search bar/tool or scrolling down the list

('Choose from a list tab')

> For EVM networks, note that you can also use the 'Input manually' tab and enter the :

. CHAIN ID

. NETWORK NAME

. RPC URL

. CURRENCY SYMBOL (The native asset / coin of the blockchain whith which you will cover network fees)

. BLOCK EXPLORER URL (OPTIONAL)

⚠️ . A malicious network provider can lie about the state of the blockchain and record your network activity. Only add custom networks you trust.

Alternative method with ChainList

> Open your Ctrl extension

> Click on the 'Settings' button

> Prioritise Ctrl via the radio button

> Go to 🌐 . https://chainlist.org/

> Click on 'Connect Wallet'

> From the Ctrl pop-up, select Ethereum and an account, click on 'Next', click on 'Connect'

> Search a network by using the Search bar/tool of the dApp

> Click on the 'Add to MetaMask' button associated with the network you want to add

> From the new Ctrl pop-up, verify the NETWORK NAME, CHAIN ID, CURRENCY SYMBOL, RPC URL and BLOCK EXPLORER then click on 'Add' once satisfied


Add a token (coins should be automatically added when networks are added)

> From the Home screen, click on '+ Add assets'

> Select the Custom network of your choice

> Enter the smart contract

> Enter the symbol

> Enter the decimals of precision

> Click on 'Next'
