How to add Custom networks (EVM networks or Cosmos chains)

> Open your Ctrl extension

> Click on the 'Settings' button

> Select 'Network management'

> Click on the '+' icon at the top-right

> You can now select the ecosystem in which the network you wish to add operates :

. EVM Etherum Virtual Machine (Ethereum-based networks) .

. Cosmos IBC Compatible Networks > Search the network you want to add by using the

Quick add (tab)

> Search the network you want to add by using the 🔍 Search bar/tool or scrolling down the list

> Click on the network of your choice to add it


Add manually (tab)

ℹ️. For EVM networks, note that you can also use the 'Add manually' tab and enter the :

. Chain ID

. Network name

. Currency Sumbol (The native asset / coin of the blockchain whith which you will cover network fees)

. RPC URL

. Block explorer URL (optional)

⚠️. Malicious providers can falsify blockchain status and track your activity. Only add custom networks you trust.

> Click on 'Add custom network'

Alternative method with dApps

Note that you can also add networks via trusted decentralised applications when your extension is connected to them.
