Teams that want more precise control at the computer often benefit from hardware with physical knobs or sliders to boost and fine-tune levels, particularly for in-venue fan engagement and noise-based CTAs.
Focusrite that Jamie mentioned is best. Also depends on what they want to input. The 49ers have used the Focusrite and you can alter the levels with knobs on that. The Titans have used an inexpensive USB mixing board that can take XLR microphone inputs. That gives them a slide to control levels. The Titans like to be able to manually manipulate the levels, so the slide works nicely.
