How does the mobile Noise Meter actually measure fan noise levels?

CUE's mobile Noise Meter uses each fan's phone microphone to capture real-time audio levels. When fans scan in and grant microphone access, their phones actively listen to the surrounding noise. The decibel reading you see moving on each fan's screen reflects actual sound being picked up by their device — it's as real as real can be. This creates an authentic, crowd-sourced measurement of how loud your venue truly is during a competition moment.
