Yes, PostUP has a 140-character limit on captions submitted by fans. Additionally, when using the JSON feed to extract captions for external graphics systems, emojis cannot be read properly and will display as garbled text on the receiving end. While emojis work correctly within CUE's native platform display, they cause issues when the data is passed through the JSON feed to systems like Disguise or Ross XPression. We recommend either encouraging fans to avoid emojis in their submissions (which can be communicated through a custom message on the front gate sign-up screen) or simply rejecting submissions containing emojis during moderation if you plan to use the external data feed.
