Cuez Admin navigation overview

A guided tour of the Cuez Admin interface, the sidebar, navigation sections, and where to find the key settings areas.

Cuez Admin has a fixed left sidebar that gives you access to every section of the product. This article describes what each section does and how to find your way around.

The sidebar

The left sidebar is your main navigation. It contains the following sections, top to bottom:

Section

What it does

Dashboard

Overview of your organization: member, group, list, media library, and news feed counts, plus AI token and storage usage

Members

Invite users to your organization and manage their roles

Groups

Create and manage the group hierarchy, sub-groups, and workspaces

Media Libraries

Connect media asset libraries and assign them to groups

AI Models

Configure AI provider API keys and view token usage

Lists

Create and manage custom reference data lists

Block Repositories

Manage Blockz block repositories for Rundown projects

News Feeds

Connect wire services (Belga, Reuters, AP) and RSS sources

Web Publishing

Configure web publishing destinations

API Keys

Create and manage API keys for external integrations

Settings

Organization-level settings: name, logo, spell check, AI story discovery

See Getting started with Cuez Admin for more on each section.

At the bottom of the sidebar is a Collapse button that hides the sidebar labels, leaving only icons. This is useful on smaller screens.

The top bar

Click your organization name in the top-left of the header to switch between organizations if you belong to more than one.

The top-right shows your user avatar. Click it to access your profile settings.

Access by role

Not all sidebar sections are accessible to all users:

  • Owners have full access to every section.

  • Group admins see a shorter sidebar with 'Dashboard', 'Groups', and 'AI Models'.

  • Members have limited access in Cuez Admin. Instead of the full sidebar interface, they land on a simplified project picker listing the workspaces they have access to.

If you are a Member and need access to a specific Admin section, ask your organization owner to change your role. See Understanding roles in Cuez Admin.

Deep-links from Cuez Rundown

You do not always need to navigate the sidebar manually. Cuez Rundown links directly into the relevant Admin page for common management actions. For example, clicking 'Manage members' in Cuez Rundown opens the workspace’s 'Access’ tab in Cuez Admin. See Connecting Cuez Admin to Cuez Rundown for the full list.
