Before learning how to delete a Project, you might be interested in knowing how to archive a Project instead? Archiving a Project instead of deleting it, will make sure you can restore your Project in the future if needed.
For more information about archiving a Project, see How can I archive a Project?.
Deleting a Project
Deleting a Project can be done in two ways:
From the Project Episodes page (only available for Organization Owners)
From the Project management on the Organization settings page (only available for Organization Owners)
1. From the Project Episodes page
From the Project switcher open the Project you want to delete
Next to the name of your Project, click the blue button with the three vertical dots
Click 'Delete Project' to delete the Project
2. From the Project management
Go to 'Projects' in the top left and select 'Organization settings & billing' from the menu. (only available for Organization Owners)
You can either delete an active Project in the 'Active' folder or an archived Project in the 'Archived' folder. Go to the correct folder, then go to the Project you want to delete and click the blue button with the three vertical dots. Next, select 'Delete Project' to delete the Project.
What are the consequences of deleting a Project?
When deleting a Project, the Project will move to the 'Deleted' folder.
You can no longer work on this Project or the Episodes within it.
We keep deleted Projects for 90 days. At the end of the 90 days you will no longer be able to restore it - neither will we.

See How can I restore a deleted Project? for more information.
Permanently deleting a Project
If you are 100% certain a deleted Project is no longer needed, you can choose to permanently delete it (from the 'Deleted' folder) instead of waiting for it to happen automatically after 90 days.
To permanently delete a Project click the blue button with the three vertical dots. Next, click 'Permanently delete project'.
This action cannot be undone - not by you, not by us - so make sure this is what you want to do.
