If the Automator application is included in the plan for your Organization, it can be activated and paired from your Project's Episode overview page or from within an Episode. If the Automator is not included for your Organisation, you can contact us for more information and pricing.
Pairing the Automator with your project
From the Episode overview, click 'Automator' next to the name of your Project. The next screen will show the available connections for your organisation and allows you to pair an Automator with your Project.
Clicking 'Pair with Project' will reveal a code that you need to copy.
Go back to your Automator installation, which by default would be 127.0.0.1:7070 in your browser. You will be asked to input the pairing code you just copied, so go ahead and paste your pairing code, then click 'Submit'.
If you already had the Automator paired to another project, click 'add Project' in the top left corner first, after which you can enter the pairing code.
Once the pairing code has been submitted, we can see the Project successfully paired and the Automator showing the available Episodes (rundowns) from your Cuez project.
Automator first look
When opening an Episode in the Automator, the screen will be split into 2 columns.
The column on the left shows a compact Rundown and can act as navigation as well (click on a Block in the Rundown to scroll the Triggers in the middle to that position).
In the middle will be the Triggers showing all Items and Blocks, as well as more information such as thumbnails for the media attached to certain Cue Blocks.
By default all Block configurations in the Episode will be shown but certain Blocks can be hidden in the Automator in case these are not needed for the automation.
An Automator can only be paired by Admin users of a Project.
